Battle between Mithun Chakraborti and a prominent producer from Bihar has resulted in a ban on all film shootings in Bihar and Jharkhand. This has paralysed the Rs500-crore Bhojpuri film industry.
The issue goes back to 2003 when Mithun completed a Bengali film, Coolie, produced by Sunil Kumar Sharma, an MLA from Bihar.
